Server

Processor: Pentium Class
Memory: Minimum 512MB
Disk Space: Minimum 1GB
Operating System: MS Windows 2000, XP Professional^*, 2003 (32-bit editions)

^{* Due the limitations of the Operating System, Windows XP can only support 10 concurrent connections and the machine must have static IP address.}

Network Environment

Apache Web Server (supplied) or Microsoft IIS 5.0+
DeviceWall requires a domain-based Windows network
Active Directory is recommended, but not required

Clients

Operating System: MS Windows 2000 (SP4), XP (SP2), 2003 with their latest critical updates and hotfixes
Hardware Requirements: DeviceWall will work on any machine capable of supporting the above operating systems

Supported Databases

DeviceWall may be used in conjunction with either Microsoft SQL 2000 (MSDE, Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition) or Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (Express, Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition).

In the event of using SQL 2000, Centennial advise that the appropriate MS SQL 2000 is on a Per Processor basis. A Processor license includes access for an unlimited number of devices or users to connect from either inside the corporate LAN or WAN or outside the firewall. For further details the Microsoft website carries current information about licensing options.

When installing the database the Microsoft SQL server is required to be in mixed-mode authentication.
