Portland, Ore. - November 8, 2005 - Centennial Software, a developer of endpoint security and IT asset discovery solutions, today announced the expansion of its U.S. management team with three executive appointments including: the promotion of Brian Hranka to Vice President, OEM Practice; the promotion of Dave Stamey to Vice President of Finance and Administration; and the selection of Brian McCarthy as Vice President of Marketing, Americas. These appointments come as the company is seeing increased market demand for its security and network discovery solutions, and follows the recent announcement of DeviceWall 3.1, the company's flagship endpoint security software.
"As our U.S. business expands and grows, we're taking the necessary steps to ensure we have the appropriate leadership staff in place to provide quality service to new and existing customers," said Andy Burton, CEO of Centennial Software. "The promotion of Brian Hranka and Dave Stamey - and the addition of Brian McCarthy - are the result of proven leadership skills and strong track records of operational success. Together, all three will help strategically grow Centennial's operations as we continue to address the growing demand for endpoint security and network discovery products in 2006."
Hranka will be responsible for growing the company's highly successful OEM program and recruiting additional OEM partners, a key initiative for Centennial. In his previous role - Director of Centennial's OEM Sales - Hranka was responsible for dramatic U.S. OEM sales growth in 2005. Prior to joining Centennial, he held management and senior sales roles at Merant Corporation (now Serena Software). More information on Centennial's OEM program is available www.embedcs.com.
Stamey, CPA, will now oversee Centennial's finance, human resources and administration operations in the U.S. He previously held the position of Manager of Finance and Administration at Centennial, where he was responsible for implementing new accounting and compliance standards while tripling personnel in less than two years. Prior to joining Centennial, he held a senior management position in the Finance and Accounting Division of Merant Corporation.
McCarthy joins Centennial Software from iGrafx®, provider of business process analysis software, where he was responsible for establishing the company as a thought and sales leader in the BPA market. He joins Centennial as Vice President of Marketing, Americas, where he will lead company and product marketing initiatives for the U.S. He holds an MBA from the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University.
