Companies looking to lower costs in the workplace will find undeniable savings with outsourced business software, according to an industry expert.
Michelle Carr, the managing director of Small Business Evolution, said that her organisation had seen trends in outsourcing adoption grow exponentially in the last six to 12 months, citing the need to cut down on administrative workers.
She explained that companies can immediately cut administrative staff for a fraction of the cost.
Ms Carr continued: "As such, for the three roles that they have outsourced, they are now paying less than the equivalent of one full-time wage per annum for a whole team of people who are handling their bookkeeping, phone calls, recruitment, IT and marketing."
The specialist added that the adoption of outsourced customer relationship management and software asset management can also reduce rent.
Yesterday, Andy Cocks emphasised the need for a dedicated manager to run outsourced software to ensure that it was used properly by all employees.
