According to research undertaking at the recent ITSMF conference in the UK, ITIL v3 (which includes a comprehensive SAM module) adoption is gaining momentum. However, some remain confused or sceptical about the benefits over v2.
Around 30 percent of ITSMF members said they were already using ITIL v3, although there were a number of complaints about it not being as easy to get to grips with as previous versions.
